About us

Keeping the friends you made in the UK

Founded in 2001, the UK Alumni Association in Vietnam (UKAV) is a non-profit community and professional network of nearly 15,000 people who have studied or worked in the UK.

Across Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, members meet at art gatherings, wine evenings, sports days and career sessions. Seniors share what they have learned, alumni-owned businesses offer members exclusive perks, and together with the British Council and the British Consulate-General, UKAV keeps the UK–Vietnam connection alive.

Our vision

Three things we work towards

Connect our members both socially and professionally once they've completed their studies in the UK.
Promote the relationship between the UK and Vietnam through networking opportunities within the alumni network and beyond, with educational, professional and business organisations.
Position and project the image of UK Alumni as successful and ethical leaders in society.
